Zhao Yuefeng pointed out that Rizhao Port, as the first listed port company in Shandong Province, is located at the bridgehead of the new Eurasian continent. It is a major port for China's key development and an important node and hub of the “Belt and Road” initiative. Lanshan Port and Lingang District are adjacent to each other, facing east and west, geographically connected, and interpersonal. It is an important transportation channel connecting the Lingang District with the nearest distance, the most complete functions and the best service. It is the implementation of the docking between Linyi and Rizhao. At the forefront, it has excellent conditions to provide more convenient and efficient logistics transportation and value-added services for the Lingang Economic Development Zone.

It is understood that the new stainless steel material project with an annual output of 500,000 tons invested by Linyi Yichen Nickel-Chromium Alloy Co., Ltd. adopts the most advanced and mature RKEF (Rotary Kiln-Submerged Arc Furnace) process in the world, which has low energy consumption, low pollution and resource recovery. Features such as high rate and high product quality. The main raw material of the project is laterite nickel ore. The current annual demand is about 5 million tons. After the project is fully put into production, the annual demand for nickel ore will reach more than 10 million tons, which can bring employment to more than 3,000 people. It has good economic and social benefits.
