In 1953, engineers from Team 409 came to Dexing County, Jiangxi Province to survey the reserves of lead-zinc mines. In the second year, Xie Qinyao, the captain of the 409 team of the Central South Geological Bureau, saw scattered records of ancient people mining and smelting copper in Dexing in the "Dexing County Chronicles", and discovered that there were pyrite and yellow metal in the old mining caves all over the mountains. After many personnel adjustments, Xu Aimin finally became the technical leader. Under his guidance, the engineering team excavated a shallow well of 10 meters to pull out the porphyry and porphyry. Dexing Copper Mine was formally established on August 18, 1958, with an initial construction scale of 25,000 tons per day.
