On September 25, Australia-listed exploration company Greenwing Resources Ltd announced that NIO Inc, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Blue Northstar Limited, has entered into a strategic financing deal with NIO, To advance exploration plans for the San Jorge salt Lake lithium project in Argentina's Catamarca province and make NIo a potential joint venture and offtake partner.
Located in the southern part of South America's Lithium Triangle, the SAN Jorge project covers an area of 360 square kilometers and is not far from the 3Q Salt Lake Lithium project under construction by Zijin Mining. The SAN Jorge project, with 34 samples and an analysis of up to 285mg/ L lithium, has been subjected to TEM geophysical exploration and preliminary drilling is planned for SeptemberOctober. In addition, Green Wing has hard rock lithium and graphite exploration projects in Madagascar.
