China's copper concentrate imports fell 16.65% month-on-month in May

Beijing (Asian Metal) 2020-7-17 Statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China show that China's copper concentrate imports in May 2020 were 1,691,493,893 kilograms, a 16.65% decrease from the previous month and 8.04% year-on-year.

In May, China imported 604,120,729 kg of copper concentrate from Chile, a decrease of 17.61% month-on-month; imported 299,667,682 kg from Peru, a decrease of 41.36% month-on-month; imported 188,066,770 kg from Mexico, an increase of 24.21%; and imported 120,938,420 kg from Mongolia, an increase of 16.62% %; imports of 104,980,202 kg from Australia, an increase of 135.66%.
