On August 24, Jakarta, the sales director of Indonesia's State Power Corporation (PLN) said in an interview that the epidemic has eliminated Indonesians’ interest in new energy vehicles. Before the epidemic, dozens of vehicles came back to charge every day. Three electric vehicle charging stations in Jakarta have not had any customers to charge for nearly two weeks.

The director said that during the epidemic, people try not to go out as much as possible and drive less. In addition, the epidemic affects the economy of the people, and everyone saves money, mainly to meet the basic needs of life.
The director added that according to statistics, there is almost no sales in the Indonesian new energy vehicle market, and the development trend is pessimistic. Therefore, Indonesia Guodian does not want to build a new charging station.
