Just now we talked about the working process of the quantitative packaging machine. Then some friends asked what kind of product is the quantitative packaging scale we are now discussing? What is a quantitative packaging scale? What is its function? For those who have used it, they surely have some understanding of it. Today, we will introduce how to make it operate normally and maintain such ability for a long time.
The pneumatic components are actually quite sensitive to dust. Why? Because if dust enters the air path, it will contaminate the cylinder lubricating oil, increase the friction between the cylinder piston and the sealing parts, and greatly shorten the lifespan of the cylinder; the accumulated dust in the air path will mix with the oil and water in the air path, causing the electromagnetic valve to get clogged. The air holes inside the electromagnetic valve are relatively small and are prone to clogging. Once clogged, it will affect normal production and may require opening for cleaning and maintenance, or even damage the electromagnetic valve.

Water is actually a major enemy of pneumatic components, but it is difficult to completely eliminate because air contains a large amount of water vapor. As the air compressor brings these moisture into the air path, the water causes problems. Where are the problems? First, it will cause corrosion of the pneumatic components. Then it will clog the pneumatic components. In winter, it is prone to freezing and blocking the air path, and even after freezing, it may crack the pneumatic components. Therefore, each quantitative packaging scale is equipped with an oil-water separator. In some special areas, a separate drying facility may also be required.
The working air pressure of the quantitative packaging scale is generally 0.4-0.5 MPa. The air pressure range of the air compressor is usually 0.4-0.8. If the air pressure of the quantitative packaging scale is too high, it is not beneficial to the lifespan of the pneumatic components. If it is too low, it will affect normal operation. The maximum air pressure can be adjusted using an oil-water separator. The method is to first pull up the top knob of the oil-water separator with your hand, then rotate it clockwise to increase the maximum air pressure, and counterclockwise to decrease the maximum air pressure.
