What is a master?

1. A pigment or dye

3. The dispersant
To make pigments disperse evenly and no longer agglomerate, the melting point of dispersant should be lower than that of resin, which has good compatibility with resin and good affinity with pigment.

What are the varieties and grades of color masterbatch?
The classification methods of color masterbatches are commonly used as follows:
According to carrier classification: such as PE master, PP master, ABS master, PVC master, EVA master, etc
Classification by use: such as injection master, blow molding master, spinning master, etc
The varieties can be divided into different types, such as:
1. Injection master:
Used for cosmetic packaging boxes, toys, electrical shell and other products.
2. Ordinary injection master:
Used for general plastic products, industrial containers, etc.
3. Blowing film color master:
Used for blow molding and coloring of ultra-thin products.
4. Ordinary blown film color master:
Used for blow molding and coloring of general packing bags and woven bags.
5. Spinning master:
Used for textile fiber spinning color, color base pigment particles fine, high concentration, strong coloring, heat resistance, light resistance.
6. Low color master:
It is used to manufacture low quality products with low quality requirements on color, such as dustbins, low containers, etc.
7. Color master:
Is according to the user specified for the products of plastic varieties, the use of the same plastic as the carrier produced by the color master.
For example, PP color master and ABS color master are selected as carriers respectively.
Universal master: a resin (usually a PE with a low melting point) is also used as a carrier, but it may be suitable for coloration of other resins other than its carrier resin.
8. Universal color master:
General color master is relatively simple and convenient, but has many disadvantages. It is recommended that users choose color master.
The heat resistance of the color masterbatch is generally suitable for the plastics used in the products, and can be safely used under normal temperature.
The only conditions that cause varying degrees of discoloration are when the temperature is out of the normal range or when the downtime is too long.

Due to direct contact with air in the process of storage and use, pigments will absorb moisture, oxidize, and agglomerate, etc. Direct use will appear on the surface of plastic products color points, dark color, color is easy to fade, and cause dust flying when mixing, affecting the health of operators.
