In 2021, Antam's unaudited production of nickel-iron was 25,818 metal tons, almost flat year-on-year (25,970 metal tons in 2020). In 2021, the sales volume of nickel iron is steady, reaching 25,992 metal tons.
In 2021, unaudited nickel mine production was 11.01 million wet tonnes (WMT), an increase of 131 percent compared to 2020 production of 4.76 million. Unaudited nickel mine sales in 2021 were 7.64 million tons, up 132% from 3.3 million tons in 2020.
In order to meet the growth prospects of the domestic nickel processing industry, the company will focus on developing the domestic nickel ore market in 2021. To address the challenges of fluctuating global commodity prices, the Company focuses on reducing cash costs of production and implementing strategic policies related to appropriate and optimal cost efficiency initiatives.
