Indonesia's state-owned mining company PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, or Antam, reported a 19% increase in sales in the first quarter of 2023.
Antam ferric nickel (TNi) production reached 5,437 tons in the first quarter of 2023, and ferric nickel product sales reached 4,287 tons of nickel in the first quarter of 2023.
Antam's consolidated nickel ore production reached 3.41 million wet tons, up 17% from 2.92 million wet tons produced in the first quarter of 2022.
Meanwhile, Antam's consolidated nickel ore sales volume in the first quarter of 2023 reached 3.44 million wet tons, an increase of 48% compared to 2.33 million wet tons in the first quarter of 2022.
