HOUSTON, July 10 (Argus) - North American lithium producer Elevra Lithium's North American lithium project in Canada saw its lithium concentrate (lithium oxide) production increase by 15% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter, reaching 54,479 tons. This was mainly due to factory optimization and an increase in yield.

The production in May this year reached a record high of 22,202 tons, making this quarter the company's second-best performance ever. The grade of lithium oxide was not disclosed.
Sales declined due to customer delivery plans. A total of 33,977 tons were sold this quarter, and the inventory as of this quarter was 40,863 tons.
The average transaction price was $919 per ton, lower than the current spot price, as the pricing was based on a lagging contract tied to the average market price from October 2025 to March 2026, which was linked to the original contract.
Elevra stated that it completed the final delivery of its largest remaining historical contract this quarter, which will help better reflect the current market conditions in future prices.
Elevra has signed lithium oxide purchase agreements with Tesla, LG Chem, and Mangrove.
