Gabon Has Reached A $3.8 Billion Cooperation Agreement With The African Export-Import Bank To Develop Manganese Ore And Gold Resources.

The African mining circle, June 29th: The Gabonese government and the African Export-Import Bank signed a $3.8 billion memorandum of understanding at the annual general meeting of the African Export-Import Bank held in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, aiming to promote the trade of manganese and gold as well as the construction and development of energy and railway infrastructure.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Henri-Claude Oyama, Minister of State and Minister of Economy, Finance and Debt of Gabon, on behalf of Gabon.

Gabon, as the world's second-largest producer of manganese, mainly uses manganese to reinforce construction steel.

In addition, Gabon is also one of the less productive members of OPEC+, producing approximately 220,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
