On January 11, 2023, the laterite nickel ore pulp prepared by SCM concentrator of Huayue finally arrived at the energy dissipation station located in the IMIP Huayue plant after nearly 10 hours of "long journey", and was sent to the pulp storage tank after energy dissipation, and the pulp was further concentrated and sent to the HPAL process. The long distance slurry conveying pipeline is about 62 kilometers long, starting from the conveyor pump station of the concentrator in SCM mining area (530m above sea level), and finally arriving at the IMIP Park energy dissipation station (about 130m above sea level).
At this point, after more than two years of construction, the SCM concentrator supporting Huayue and Indonesia's first laterite nickel mine long distance pulp conveying pipeline project were officially put into operation. The completion and operation of the long distance pulp pipeline from Hua-Yue SCM Concentrating Plant to IMIP Park also opened a new chapter of win-win cooperation and green development between Hua-Yue and SCM Mine.
