On November 6, 2025, according to the announcement of the listed company, Northern Mining intends to acquire the BKM copper mine project in Indonesia for 105 million US dollars.



This project is wholly owned by ASIAMET RESOURCES, which is listed on the UK's AIM market. The project is located on the Central Kalimantan Island of Indonesia and plans to adopt open-pit mining and heap leaching processes, with wet-process metallurgy for producing grade A copper. The annual designed production is 10,000 tons, with a service life of 12.8 years, and the initial capital expenditure is 178 million US dollars.
Northern Mining operates two copper and cobalt mining companies, Komika and Ramika, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and also has greenfield or exploration projects in Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and other countries.
