PT IWIP will build more than 44 ferronickel production lines at the Wida Bay industrial zone and plan to invest an additional 200 trillion rupiah in order to expand its business scope and meet energy needs, PT IWIP external relations general manager Wahyu Budi said on March 24.

At present, the park has been under the construction of 44 nickel-iron production lines in order to increase the company's production capacity.
Among them, a nickel deposit developed in 2018 in collaboration with local partner PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) TBK and a nickel pig iron smelter with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons is the first smelter in the Weda Bay Industrial Park.

At the same time, the park will gradually carry out other projects, such as the construction of battery materials, and will increase its investment in related smelter construction to 15 billion US dollars or about 200 trillion rupiah.
At present, 12 3×250 power plant ports have been completed in the park. With the construction of factories and power plants, the park will absorb more labor force.
