Jinchang Daily reported that recently, the world's fifth, Asia's first Jinchuan nickel flash melting furnace, after more than a month of comprehensive cold repair, the official ignition oven. This overhaul set a new record for the cold repair of the nickel flash furnace in 30 years. After the completion of the overhaul, the annual processing capacity of nickel concentrate in the flash furnace system increased to 850,000 tons.
It is understood that this overhaul is a comprehensive upgrade and reform overhaul of nickel flash furnace after cold repair in 2010, involving 5 workshops, such as flash furnace system, 480,000 tons sulfuric acid system, high matte grinding and floating system, 80 square meters reflection furnace, sodium ring collection system, 797 overhaul projects, all levels of inspection personnel up to 3000 people. After the overhaul is completed, the annual processing capacity of nickel concentrate in the flash furnace system is increased to 850,000 tons, and the processing capacity of dry concentrate in the reactor is increased to 100 tons per hour.
The flash furnace upgrading and overhaul project belongs to the sub-project of the provincial major project -- the nickel fire process system integration innovation and reform project. In order to ensure the smooth completion of maintenance, Jinchuan Group has made efforts to overcome the difficulties of extensive points, difficult construction organization, multi-dimensional cross operations, high safety control requirements, tight task period and so on, and developed a thorough maintenance plan and scheme. Through advance planning in place, responsibility in place, safety training in place, maintenance preparation in place of the "four in place" work requirements, pay attention to the maintenance process control, to ensure the orderly progress of the maintenance work during the period.
After the upgrade and transformation, the production capacity of nickel flash furnace in Jinchuan Group has been greatly increased, and the level of intelligence, standardization and automation has been significantly improved, which further improves the safe and stable operation level of metallurgical furnace in a long period and lays a solid foundation for the high-quality development of Jinchuan nickel industry.
