The company recently disclosed its latest progress in the construction of nickel resources projects in Indonesia.
According to the company, as of January 2024, the project has achieved the output of 3400 tons of metal nickel MHP, marking the project construction has achieved phased results. At present, the basic engineering of the Indonesian nickel resource project under construction has been completed, and the key main equipment has also been in place, with the conditions for sprint installation.
It is expected that the project will begin the gradual completion and production of three modules in June 2024, with an annual capacity of 21,000 tons of metal nickel per module, fully releasing production capacity. In addition, the company's joint venture with MDK Indonesia for 30,000 tons of metal nickel/annual capacity project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in September 2024.
In order to further promote the project construction process, the company held a 100-day sprint oath meeting for the construction of Indonesian nickel resources project in Jingmen Park, Hubei Province on February 21, which was held at the same time as the Indonesian Qingmeibang Park. This marks the official 100-day sprint phase of the company's Indonesian nickel resources project, which aims to ensure that the project is completed and put into operation on schedule.
