The EPC Project For Mining And Transporting 8 Million Tons Of Nickel Laterite in Penta, Indonesia Began

On the morning of November 10, local time, the EPC project for mining and transportation of 8 million tons of nickel latelite in Penta, Indonesia, jointly contracted by China Energy Construction Zhongnan Institute and China Energy Construction Guangdong Thermal Power held a groundbreaking ceremony. The project is located in Bangai County, Luvuk City, Central Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. The total area of the mine area is about 1,220 hectares. The scope of the project mainly includes table cleaning, surface stripping, mining, transportation, shipping and other work.

After the project is put into operation, it will further promote the upgrading of local nickel industry, consolidate the position of local nickel mineral products supply, and play a positive role in promoting local economic development.


The smooth implementation of the project is another important development achievement for China to build its affiliated enterprises to actively implement the "Belt and Road" Initiative, deepen cooperation and alliance, seize overseas market opportunities, explore non-electricity fields and deepen the Indonesian market.
