The Energy Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region recently issued the "Approval on the Approval of the Jiangsu Energy Wulagai Power Plant 2×1 MW Project", marking a major step forward in the construction of the Xuzhou Mining Group’s "Mongolia Power Transmission" energy base, and significant energy cooperation between the two places Results.

Jiangsu Energy Wulagai Power Plant is a key project of the "Mongolian Power Transmission to Su" energy base constructed by Xu Mining Group, with an estimated investment of 7.5 billion yuan. It is the supporting power supply for the "Ximeng-Taizhou" DC UHV channel and is the "Mongolian Power Transmission to Su" The key projects that will be put into operation will greatly improve the energy security supply capacity of Jiangsu Province, which is of great significance to further reduce coal consumption in the province. This project is in line with the important strategy of national energy base construction and cross-regional power transmission, is conducive to promoting the coordinated development of Inner Mongolia's regional economy, and is conducive to promoting Jiangsu and Inner Mongolia to create a new situation in energy cooperation at a deeper level.
The project has advanced technical design and is the first million-level lignite power generation unit project in China. It fills the gap in my country's million-level lignite power generation unit and will greatly enhance my country's equipment design and manufacturing capabilities. At the same time, the project adopts advanced flue gas water extraction and waste water reuse technology, supporting the construction of high-efficiency dust removal, desulfurization and denitrification devices and other environmental protection facilities. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will become a first-class domestic, internationally advanced, green and environmentally-friendly super large thermal power generation enterprise.
In July last year, the National Energy Administration approved the "Ximeng-Taizhou" ±800KV DC UHV transmission channel 5.96 million kilowatts supporting power supply plan.
