Recently, after a lot of preparatory work in the early stage, the 308th team of Yunnan Nonferrous Geology Bureau and PT.Alam Raya Abadi(referred to as ARA company) cooperation in Indonesia Suba Yin nickel mining area 1, 2 ore body production exploration project successfully started.
Indonesia Suba Yin Nickel mine is located in Hamahera Island, North Maluku Province, Indonesia. It is a super large laterite nickel deposit with a nickel content of 637,600 tons and an average nickel grade of 1.647% discovered by the 308th team in 2007. The mine was completed and put into operation in 2008 and has accumulated millions of tons of raw ore.
In June 2023, in order to further understand the remaining resources of the mine and meet the needs of mine production and mining. Commissioned by Indonesia ARA Company, our team undertook the task of production exploration of the mine, the project plans to construct more than 570 drilling holes, about 10,000 meters, the construction period is 3 months. After undertaking the project, our team has sent 17 technical personnel in two batches, using the Indian side of the labor 24 people, after the project department in the early stage of intense preparation, in August 25, the smooth operation of 6 drilling RIGS.
