HOUSTON, May 6th (Argus) - Realloys Company has received a memorandum from the US Department of Defense, emphasizing the necessity of ensuring domestic supply of heavy rare earth elements. Among them, dysprosium and terbium were specifically designated as the most critical and high-value elements.

The Department of Defense stated that rare earth elements, especially dysprosium and terbium, are a priority for national security and are being re-supported through financial investment, strategic policies, and public-private partnerships.
The company is expanding its metal supply capacity in North America to produce defense-grade dysprosium and terbium on a commercial scale, and has signed a long-term purchase agreement with the facilities of the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) in Canada.
The raw materials provided by the SRC agreement are sufficient to produce 530 tons of rare earth metals per year.
