The surface of cold-rolled copper plates sometimes has skinning, pits, and pitting. One of the reasons is that multiple rolling processes are required during processing. In any process, if the surface is not cleaned, there will be oxides attached to the surface of the copper plate.

During the next rolling, it will be pressed into the copper plate, causing the final copper plate to fall off when the finished copper plate is processed. Defects such as pitting are formed.
For a simple example, sprinkle a few sesame seeds on the surface of the cake when you roll the dough with a rolling pin, then the sesame seeds will be embedded in the cake, but if the sesame seeds fall off during the process of making the cake, it will become A pit!

Another situation is also more common, that is, due to the insufficient tightness of the packaging during the transportation, the gap between the copper plate and the copper plate is too large, then the bumping of the vehicle during the transportation will cause surface collision and friction! Copper, especially red copper itself, is a relatively soft metal, and it will inevitably leave unsightly pits after vigorous collision and friction. This principle is the same as the unsightly pits left when pinching the dough by hand.
