GEM today announced that it has recently cooperated with PTHALAMAHERAPERSADALYGEND (hereinafter referred to as "HPAL"), a subsidiary of Ningbo Liqin Resources Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Liqin Resources"), on nickel hydroxide intermediates, nickel sulfate and cobalt sulfate for power batteries. Signed a strategic procurement agreement for related matters such as procurement.
According to the agreement, the products HPAL provides to GEM are nickel hydroxide intermediate products, nickel sulfate and cobalt sulfate. Within 8 years from 2021, the HPAL plant of the Indonesian OBI nickel hydrometallurgical project of Liqin Resources has supplied GEM with no less than 74,400 tons of nickel raw materials and no more than 178,560 tons of nickel raw materials; cumulative supply of no less than 9,296 tons of cobalt by-products and not high At 22,320 tons of cobalt by-product. Among them, in each contract year, the supply is not less than 9,300 tons of nickel raw materials and 1,162 tons of cobalt by-products and not more than 22,320 tons of nickel raw materials and 2,790 tons of cobalt by-products.
This agreement is a strategic agreement for cooperation between the two parties and does not need to be submitted to the board of directors and the shareholders meeting for review. Regarding the follow-up matters involved in this agreement, the company will perform the corresponding information disclosure obligations in a timely manner in accordance with the "Stock Listing Rules" of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the "Guidelines for the Normative Operation of Listed Companies on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange" and other laws and regulations.
