Rogers: Gold still has a lot of room for growth

"Commodity King" Jim Rogers said in an interview recently that the next financial crisis will be worse than this year.

"This time is the worst I have ever seen in my life. The stock market is rising because countries around the world are easing significantly and huge liquidity has been injected into the market."

Rogers said that this means it will be worse next time.

Although substantial stimulus can provide short-term support to the market, the large amount of debt created at the same time will have a negative impact on the long-term economy.

US stocks suffered four blowouts in March this year due to the epidemic, but they continued to rebound and set new highs again.

After the gold market broke through the $2,000/oz mark and set a new high, it fell back to the current level of around 1950.

"Six months ago, the United States was the country with the largest debt in the history of the world. No one had ever had so much debt. After that, the United States created trillions of dollars in new debt."

Rogers believes that there is still room for gold prices to rise.

"If my prediction is correct, then the price of gold still has very, very large room to rise before the end of the crisis, and it may even enter a bubble. But I don't want gold to become a bubble, because it is time to sell, but I don’t never want to sell gold. I want my children to own my gold and silver."
