According to Ecofin, Wood Mackenzie, a leading energy business intelligence consultancy, has released a study on the development prospects of global graphite resources.
According to the report, two African countries, Mozambique and Madagascar, are among the top five graphite producers by 2021, ranking third and fifth respectively.

Among them, Madagascar is especially rich in graphite resources, which has attracted a number of multinational enterprises to invest and develop, and is expected to become the world's main graphite producer in the future.
In addition, Tanzania and other African countries also have considerable graphite resources, will become a new graphite producer.
The report predicts that Africa is expected to become the world's largest producer of graphite by 2026, with its share of global production rising from 15% in 2021 to 40%.
