AMG Titanium Has Received Government Funding For The Expansion Of Its Factory Site.

HOUSTON, July 20th (Argus) - AMG Titanium, a subsidiary of the high-end specialty materials company AMG Group, has received a $750,000 government grant from the Pennsylvania Rebuilding Assistance Capital Program for its $15.7 million expansion project in the town of Inshannonock.
State Senator Michelle Brooks and Mara Brown announced on July 16th that the funds were allocated by the Pennsylvania Rebuilding Assistance Capital Program to the Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation for the expansion project of Messer-Bruce AMG Titanium.
The grant will be used to purchase land and build a 60,000-square-foot production plant adjacent to the company's current 50,000-square-foot facility.
AMG's current facility mainly produces intermediate alloys and other high-end specialty alloys for aerospace, defense, and energy industries.
Senator Brooks said, "Currently, the backlog of new aircraft orders has covered the company's production capacity for the next decade. AMG urgently needs to expand its capacity and plans to increase the overall production capacity to three times the original level by building a new independent factory."
