Meidy Katrin Lengkey, Secretary General (Sekum) of the Indonesian Nickel Miners Association (APNI), estimates that Indonesia will control 85% of the world's nickel production by 2033, She expressed this in a material introduction to the Discussion Group Forum (FGD) held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu RI) at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta.

"Then it is expected that by 2033, we will control about 85% of the world's nickel production." "So I'm very proud," Medi said at the event in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He believes that behind all this, Indonesia's nickel level has been oversupplied, or even excessive. This will of course affect nickel prices from March 2023 onwards.
"To this day, jumping off is amazing. So world nickel prices are indeed falling. "We, the miners, and even downstream industry players, are screaming," she said.
