According to customs statistics, in March 2021, China imported 1.840,300 tons of nickel ore, with a month-on-month increase of 24.61% and a year-on-year increase of 13.68%.
Among them, the imports of nickel ore from the Philippines amounted to 1.6667 million tons, an increase of 29.18% month-on-month and 43.83% year-on-year.
Imports of 0.01 million tons of nickel ore from Indonesia decreased by 99.78% month-on-month and 99.96% year-on-year.
Imports of 173,500 tons of nickel ore from other countries increased by 23.77% month-on-month and decreased by 14.44% year-on-year.
From January to March, China's nickel ore imports totaled 4.7514 million tons, down 19.96 percent year on year.
Among them, 4.0309 million tons of nickel ore were imported from the Philippines, an increase of 27.38% year on year.
Imported 167,400 tons of nickel ore from Indonesia, 92.53% less than last year;
The import of nickel ore from other countries was 553,100 tons, up 3.98 percent year on year.
According to customs statistics, in March 2021, China imported 334,400 tons of nickel and iron, with a month-on-month increase of 50,600 tons or 17.81%.
An increase of 0.7300 tons, or 2.23% year on year.
Among them, China imported 277,800 tons of nickel-iron from Indonesia in March, an increase of 43,900 tons or 18.79% month on month.
It decreased by 0.2,600 tons, or 0.94%.
From January to March 2021, China's imports of nickel-iron totaled 972,700 tons, an increase of 172,600 tons or 21.57% over the same period last year.
Among them, 801,000 tons of nickel-iron were imported from Indonesia, with a year-on-year increase of 117,700 tons or 17.10%.
