According to the information from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the work team in Wuzhou City recently visited the site of Yongda Group 1780mm front-end hot rolling production line project to understand the project construction progress and coordinate to solve the problems in the project construction.
Wu Zhuofu, chairman of Yongda Group, said that the total length of 1780mm front-end hot rolling production line is more than 700 meters, and the main equipment of the production line is composed of heating furnace, preliminary rolling, 7-continuous finishing rolling and plate winding machine. In particular, the equipment of 7-continuous finishing rolling weighs 260 tons, which requires the joint operation of two navigation trucks and four cranes on the ground to complete the lifting. About 80% of the track connected by the finishing mill has been completed, and the installation and debugging of the finishing mill is expected to be completed by the end of April.
According to the timing schedule of the project, the construction of the heating furnace is progressing slowly at present, which is mainly affected by the delay of land delivery of this parcel. It is estimated that it will take about 3 months to complete the installation of this link. As a result, the entire hot rolling line project is expected to achieve trial production by the end of June.
