Dec. 18, 2020: Great Panther said it expects to restart its Tonia gold, silver, lead and zinc mine in Mexico on Dec. 21, which was suspended last month after 19 cases of novel coronavirus were reported.
The shutdown, which lasts about 30 days, is not expected to affect the company's ability to meet its comprehensive production guidance for 2020, the company said.
For the three months ended September 30, 2020, Topia produced on average approximately 1,400 equivalent ounces of gold per month, representing approximately 9% of the Company's revenue.
Great Panther's Tucano and Guanajuato mines are still in operation.
