On December 28, 2022, the Tariff Commission of The State Council issued a notice to adjust import and export tariffs on some commodities starting from January 1, 2023.
Among them, the main adjustment of aluminum commodity tariffs are: ① the 0% and 15% provisional tariff rates before 76011010 (the amount of aluminum by weight of 99.95% and above of unwrought non-alloy aluminum, namely fine aluminum) and 76011090 (other unwrought non-alloy aluminum) are abolished, and 30% export tariff rate is implemented. ② Aluminum alloys produced from refined aluminum (low-alkali refined aluminum alloys with alkali content (Na+K+Ca) < 10ppm and hydrogen content < 0.12ml/100gAl) are not listed separately. The previous provisional tariff of 0% will be abolished, that is, 76012000 (unforged aluminum alloy) will be subject to the provisional export tariff of 15%.
