Indonesia OBI Nickel and Cobalt Project phase iii hydrometallurgical project started on June 27, 2022. The project has an annual production capacity of 60,000 metal tons and is scheduled to start production in September 2023.
It is understood that the OBI Island wet process project has a first-phase capacity of 37,000 nickel metal tons/year, which has been put into production in October 2021. The second-phase capacity of 18,000 nickel metal tons/year is scheduled to be put into production in Q3 2022.
