In the lithium mining business, Lin Zhuo entered late and did relatively conservatively, with about a few containers of goods per month. "In fact, it is mining, that is, going to the mine to collect stones and sell them."
Lin Zhuo's identity is more of a source of traders. After acquiring ore in Africa, Linzhuo has two ways to sell it, one is to deal locally in Africa, which may be picked up by larger traders or direct corporate demand side. The other is to ship it directly home. It is more profitable to ship back home, but it is relatively risky and the payment period is longer.
In Linzhuo's description, mining in Nigeria is very primitive, and local black people directly carry the simplest tools to dig by hand. Lin Zhuo took out his phone and showed me a video of a worker mining.
"At first the black people didn't understand what the Chinese wanted with the stones. For them, the main use of the stones was to pave the road."
Lithium ore is divided into lepidolite and spodumene. In general, the lithium content of spodumene is higher than that of lepomica, and the metal lithium extraction cost is also lower. Generally, the Li2O content in spodumene concentrate is usually 5.0~6.0%, while the Li2O content in lepidolite concentrate is usually 2.0 ~ 3.5%. Untreated ores contain even less lithium, and the Li2O content of lipolite may be only 1%-2%.
