Nickel Mines in Australia has reportedly been commissioning the fourth rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) line at the Angel Nickel project in Indonesia.
The RKEF production line has an annual capacity of 9,000 tons of nickel metal. All four RKEF lines were operational by mid-May. With commissioning of power plants likely to begin in August, the company's four production lines could be quickly raised to above nameplate capacity.
