We know that if equipment is not maintained, it will shorten its lifespan and cause malfunctions. Starting from the first operation of a new machine, developing good maintenance habits can reduce the occurrence of faults and extend the lifespan of our equipment. Especially for our large-tonnage bag packaging machines, which are not large-scale mechanical equipment, sometimes a minor fault may not affect the overall operation. If left unchecked, it may lead to a major fault in the near future. As the saying goes, sharpening the knife doesn't prevent chopping wood. Regular maintenance is very important. Today, we will talk about the maintenance methods for our ton bag packaging machines beyond the instructions. After all, most people know the general contents in the instructions.

Maintenance of the ton bag packaging machine
Two aspects: lubrication, maintenance;
Lubrication:
1. Generally, no oil should be added to each rolling bearing;
2. For the continuously variable transmission (cable-length transmission), change the oil once every six months after the first month of operation.
3. Differential gearbox: During the first month of operation, change the oil once a month. After that, change the oil every four months.
4. After each transmission chain has been in operation for 1,000 hours, it needs to be lubricated with industrial grease.
5. Apply lubricating oil to the eccentric part after the cross-sealing shaft is installed.
6. The connection part between the upper clamping conveyor drive shaft and the universal joint drive shaft should be lubricated frequently.
Maintenance:
After the continuously variable transmission has been in operation for three months, it is usually necessary to adjust the tension of the chain inside the transmission. Users should follow the instructions in the manual and the adjustment methods indicated on the label of the transmission for the adjustment.
2. Adjustment of the tension of the transmission chains of the packaging machine. After the new machine has been in operation for three months, the tensioning pulleys of each transmission chain need to be adjusted to eliminate the excessive slackness of the chains. Generally, this adjustment should be carried out once every year after the machine has been in operation for one year.
