At 10 o 'clock on April 27th, 2021, the wet high pressure acid leaching project in PT. Hpal Obi Island of Liqin, Indonesia, after three years and ten months, the first autoclave was put into commissioning and the trial production was successful, and the sample is expected to be produced in May.
The product of this project is the intermediate product of nickel cobalt hydroxide.
The construction of the plant made bold use of domestic equipment, which not only reduced the cost of investment, but also increased the market value of Chinese manufacturing brands.
Technical innovation is inseparable from an excellent team. The wet process project of Liqin was designed by China Enfei. Both sides have the courage to try in the cooperation, break through the traditional restrictions, and contribute Chinese strength to the development of the industry.
The tailings of this project are treated by pressure filtration and backfilling. The tailings will be further refined into raw materials of pig iron and ferrochrome for the civil market.
