When answering questions from investors, Shengtun Mining said that since 2016, the company has been focusing on energy metals nickel, cobalt and copper, adhering to the development strategy of controlling resources at the top and expanding materials at the bottom. In terms of energy metal smelting, since the comprehensive smelting project of CCR of Congo with an annual output of 30,000 tons of cathode copper and 3,500 tons of crude cobalt hydroxide (metal volume) was successfully completed and put into operation, The company continues to invest in the CCM project and the Karongwe Mining and Smelting integration project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The CCM integrated smelting project with an annual output of 30,000 tons of cathode copper and 5,800 tons of crude cobalt hydroxide (metal volume) will be put into production by the end of 2021. Calonway's integrated mining and smelting project with an annual output of 30,000 tons of cathode copper and 3,600 tons of crude cobalt hydroxide (metal volume) started production in January 2023 and produced its first batch of copper and cobalt products in February.

In 2019, the company invested and built the Indonesian Youshan Nickel high-ice Nickel project with an annual output of 34,000 nickel. Now the project is in stable operation. The Indonesia Shengmai Nickel project with an annual output of 40,000 tons nickel is under construction, which is expected to be put into production in 2024.
In terms of energy metal materials, in addition to the 4,500 tons of metal cobalt tetroxide project of Zhuhai Kelixinian, the company is constructing 300,000 tons of battery-grade nickel sulfate, 300,000 tons of battery-grade iron phosphate and 10,000 tons of battery-grade cobalt metal materials projects in Guizhou with an annual output. It is expected that 150,000 tons of nickel sulfate in the first phase of the project will be put into production smoothly in the third quarter of this year. Can be supplied to the downstream production of power battery precursor.
At present, the company has a smelting project in Indonesia, mainly purchasing laterite nickel ore for processing and smelting. The company always adheres to the development strategy of "controlling resources from the top and expanding materials from the bottom", keeps the follow-up of upstream resources, and looks for the right opportunity to strengthen the company's control over upstream resources.
