The rising cost of lithium carbonate from upstream directly boosts production costs; industry production cuts and the recovery of demand have led to a temporary tight supply-demand situation; accelerated technological iteration has accelerated capacity clearance, and the structural shortage of high-pressure dense products has become prominent. Meanwhile, the downward price transmission mechanism of the entire industry has been activated, reflecting that the lithium battery material system has undergone a deep adjustment and is gradually entering a recovery cycle.
The demand side shows a structural differentiation. In the domestic battery power sector, the introduction of new models has driven the demand for inventory preparation, and orders have concentrated on the leading enterprises. In the energy storage sector, the demand remains expanding but is mainly driven by inventory reduction. The overseas market experiences a moderate growth in demand driven by the energy transition.
The supply side shows dual characteristics of stable production and inventory replenishment-driven demand. The material factories maintain their normal production rhythm, and the capacity utilization rate of leading enterprises remains at a high level. As the industry enters the inventory replenishment cycle, the production scale of lithium iron phosphate gradually recovers, and the market supply volume has increased.
In the short term, the price of lithium iron phosphate may continue to experience certain fluctuations, but the overall upward trend is quite obvious and the market situation is relatively stable.
