Rio de Janeiro - Vale will resume operations at its Onca Puma nickel mine in Brazil's Para state after a federal court lifted a ban on its business license, foreign media reported on October 28.
Onca Puma's operations were first halted on October 4 due to alleged non-compliance with local regulations.
On October 7, a judge allowed Vale to resume operations, but the decision was overturned by a higher state court on October 18, and nickel operations have been suspended ever since.
