The China-Central Asia Summit was successfully held in Xi 'an on May 18 and 19, Xinhua reported. This is the first substantive summit between China and Central Asian countries since the establishment of diplomatic ties 31 years ago, and the first summit since the establishment of the China-Central Asia mechanism three years ago. The first China-Central Asia Summit has built a new platform and opened up new prospects for cooperation between China and Central Asia, set up a new historic monument in the history of China-Central Asia relations and opened up new prospects for mining cooperation between China and Central Asia.
As the center of the Eurasian continent, the five Central Asian countries have unique geographical advantages. In terms of geology, Central Asia contains several important ore-forming belts and oil-bearing basins in the world, such as Ural-Tianshan, Balkhash and Altai. It is rich in mineral resources and ranks among the top in the world in the reserves of various mineral resources. The exploitation and utilization of mineral resources is relatively low, and the mining investment potential is huge.
