The operator places the bag on the spout. Product enters into packing machine's buffer bin which will remove excess air from product, thereby improving consistency. From the bin, the product is fed into the bag through a VDF controlled variable speed auger. When reaching target value, the screw stops and the feeding valve closes, bag clamping device opens and the filled bag can then be moved out manually or automatically. The machine is ready for a new filling cycle.
