Copper Mountain Mining Corp.
Releasing its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2020, Copper Mountain produced a record 23.1 million pounds of Copper, 8,959 ounces of gold and 144, 934 ounces of silver for the fourth quarter.
Intake grades improved throughout the quarter as the plant began processing higher grade third-stage ore, and higher grade ore and higher recovery rates were the main reasons for record production in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The plant processed 3.4 million tons of ore in the fourth quarter of 2020, compared to 3.7 million tons in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Copper Mountain produced 77.6 million pounds of Copper in fiscal 2020, exceeding its 2020 production guidance.
Gold and silver production in 2020 was 29,227 ounces of gold and 392,494 ounces of silver.
By comparison, 72 million pounds of copper, 26,747 ounces of gold and 271,835 ounces of silver were produced in 2019.
Production in 2020 is higher due to processing of higher grades of ore starting in phase 3 in the fourth quarter of 2020.
