Greenland Resources plans to provide these molybdenum products to Rogesa. These products are produced from the molybdenum ore at the Malmbjerg project in eastern Greenland and will be refined in Belgium. Details regarding the quantity of molybdenum supply have not been disclosed.
The Malmbjerg project obtained a 30-year mining license in June 2025, but has not yet commenced commercial production.
In December last year, the European Union indicated it would provide funds for the project, and in March this year, the Canadian Ministry of Natural Resources conditionally approved a project grant of 7 million Canadian dollars (equivalent to 5.1 million US dollars) for the company.
Greenland Resources has also signed several other钼 acquisition memorandums of understanding with companies such as Hempel, Cogne, Outokumpu and GMH Group.
